BACK! In Red! Our Tinsel Knit kaftan dresses in either a v-neck or round neck style.

They are a free size (with full measurements below) and have hidden velvet ribbons on the inside meaning you can wear them two ways - 1) Free, loose and baggy, and 2) with the ribbons tied at the waist to pull the dress in and frame your figure.

The kaftans are a bespoke design influenced by vintage kaftans dresses dating back to the 70s. They are made from a ludicrously sparkly metallic tinsel woven knit fabric so are precious and fragile and can snag. We have lined the inside of the fabric with a protective and washable sealant to toughen the weave, but we still advise you to wear and handle your kaftan with care - much like any other loved item in your wardrobe! There is no fabric lining to the kaftan so you may want to wear something underneath to stop you from getting nippy! 

Due to the unique tinsel thread, your kaftan will likely need a trim after a few wears (do not pull on any loose threads) to clear of any potential snags. You can watch the video below on how to do this and how to style and care for your kaftan.

Length (top to bottom)- approx 138cm 

Width (Top and bottom) - approx 133cm 

Arm hole length - Choose from wide open bell sleeve or closed cuff (we will email you to confirm this)

Neck hole length - approx 20cm
