Gold member, and this weeks GLAMBASSADOR Lisa (Hi Lisa!) is dedicated to her work at the Pink Ribbon Foundation as Head of Charity and therefore we have nominated the charity for our annual summer raffle!

About the Pink Ribbon Foundation:

The Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg. Charity No. 1080839) is a UK grant-making trust
dedicated to supporting charities and organisations that provide care, services, and practical assistance to people affected by breast cancer.

The Foundation also funds projects that helpadvance understanding, early detection, and treatment of the disease.

Established in 2000, the Pink Ribbon Foundation has provided financial support to more
than 300 different breast cancer charities across the UK, helping to fund vital services,
specialist equipment, counselling, patient support programmes, awareness initiatives and
research projects.

The Foundation operates with a unique and highly efficient infrastructure. With no offices
and a small operational team supported by volunteer Trustees and Patrons, administrative costs are kept to a minimum. This lean structure ensures that the maximum amount possible from funds raised is directed towards charitable causes, enabling the Foundation to support around 70+ breast cancer-related charities across the UK each year.

In addition to its grant-making activities, the Foundation delivers and supports a diverse
programme of national campaigns, fundraising initiatives and awareness projects that
combine creativity, collaboration and public engagement. These include the BOLD
photographic exhibition series, which celebrates the strength and resilience of people
affected by hair loss as a result of treatment for breast cancer; the annual PINKLondon gala, bringing together supporters, corporate partners and celebrities; Catwalk for a Cause, a fashion-led fundraising event empowering those impacted by the disease with celebrity support; and the Pink Ribbon Duck Race, a large-scale community fundraising campaign that has attracted national media coverage and public participation.
Through strategic partnerships, innovative fundraising, high-profile events and impactful
public relations campaigns, the Foundation continues to raise awareness of breast cancer, champion those affected by the disease and generate vital funds for charities across the UK.
